The International Freshman Academic Scholarship is now available for students who want to study at a university in the United States. The International Freshman Academic Scholarship is a merit-based scholarship awarded to high-achieving international students who are seeking an undergraduate degree at UNC Charlotte.
Who is eligible to apply?
To be eligible, you must be an international student who has applied to and been admitted to UNC Charlotte as a first-year student for the fall semester. You will not be able to renew this award if you have ever received another full-tuition or partial tuition award (including, but not limited to: Early Decision scholarships). Recipients of the award may not use any other federal or institutional financial aid or loans towards the remaining balance of their tuition after the amount of this award has been applied. You will also need a 3.2 GPA (or higher) in your pre-college coursework and maintain that level throughout your undergraduate career at UNC Charlotte.
