The scholarship will be awarded on behalf of Saginaw Valley State University by four different organizations: The Michigan Association of State Universities; The National Association of Manufacturers; The American Society for Quality (ASQ); and The Society for Manufacturing Quality (SFX).

The scholarship program at Saginaw Valley State University is divided into two categories. The first is partial funding, which may be awarded to students who have completed their freshman year and are enrolled in a degree program or certificate program. Partial funding includes both tuition and fee waivers but does not include room and board or books/supplies.
The other category is education award scholarships that are given to students who plan on pursuing a degree from SVSU after receiving their undergraduate degrees from another college or university. Education award scholarships do not cover the cost of attending SVSU; however, they will pay half of your tuition costs for up to four years after graduating from another institution (once again excluding room and board).
